You really took me back on this one. And I remember us looking at our African American waiter like “really bro?”. I can’t imagine going into work everyday and seeing that flag. It’s good to see now they’ve removed it. The elderly white lady was the true meaning of micro aggression. Now almost 7 years later I only go where I am celebrated not where I am tolerated. I’ve walked out of plenty of places if I even feel the slightest discomfort. We must protect our peace at all costs.
